Cameron Diaz showed off a perfectly toned physique while walking the red carpet at the 2012 Academy Awards. The blonde beauty wore a dazzling, strapless Gucci gown, complete with ruffled train. Choppy locks and a fresh face were the finishing touches to Cameron’s look. Keep reading to find out how to make it your own.

Begin by moisturizing the skin with a hydrating serum, applied evenly to the face and neck. Follow that up with a makeup primer, which will help to fill in fine lines and further smooth the complexion. Use a makeup sponge to apply a liquid foundation to the face, and then dab concealer over any dark circles or blemishes. Set the look with a sheer, pressed powder.

Cameron opted to let her sparkling blue eyes take center stage. Begin by sweeping a slate-colored shadow over the entire lid, stopping at the crease. Smudge a bit of the shadow along the lower lash line as well. Take a shimmery, peachy-pink shade and, using a fine-tipped shadow brush, sweep the color along the upper lash line, and in the inner corners of the eyes. Use a black, gel liner to add definition, drawing a line evenly across the upper lid, and along the water line. Finish with two generous coats of mascara to both the top and bottom lashes.

Rosy coloring on the lips and cheeks completed this red-carpet look. Apply blush to the apples of the cheeks, and sweep up toward the temples. Be sure to line your pout with a lip pencil before applying the lipstick, to ensure color will last all night without bleeding or feathering. Go over the lips with a clear gloss for added shine.

Cameron’s casual, textured bob was a hit on the red carpet. Begin by washing hair with an anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner. Mist hair with a heat-protectant spray, before using a paddle brush and a hair dryer, on medium heat, to blow out your mane. Straighten hair with a flat iron. Once hair is perfectly smooth and sleek, use the flat iron to flip random pieces of hair up in different directions; this will add texture and movement. Finish by using a flexible-hold hairspray to lock the look in place.

I love the rippling effect on the bottom of her dress! And her natural makeup/hairstyle is like a breath of fresh air! This comment has been removed.

I like her easy, breezy California girl look. However, I don't think she should use black eyeliner. her eyes would still pop without it. This comment has been removed.
