Is Taaz easier than Photoshop ?

Much easier! In fact Taaz is the most easy to use software available for portrait retouching. Photoshop is a powerful and complex general purpose photo editing software. On the other hand, Taaz photo editor is specialized for editing photos of human faces. Because Taaz is not general purpose, it has been designed to be much smarter for portrait photography. The user does not need to understand photo editing concepts like "Layers", "Brushes", "Erasers", "Healing Tools" etc. Instead, the users simply chose the color they want on their lips, and voila! the lip color changes with the click of a button. For smoothing skin, you just move a slider, and Taaz automatically smoothes skin region on the face.

How to use Taaz for editing pictures

To begin photo editing, register or sign in at Taaz.com, and upload a picture by clicking on the "Upload Photo" tab. Follow the instructions to help us accurately determine various parts of your face.

Smooth Skin

To smooth skin and remove wrinkles, go to the "Face" tab and click on foundation. Select your skin tone ( Fair, Light, Yellow, Olive, Brown, Dark ). Select the foundation that closely matches your skin color. Move the slider at the bottom to chose the amount of smoothing desired.

Remove Dark Under Eyes

The concealer tool in Taaz can be used to removes the darkness under eyes, and restore a young fresh look. Chose a concealer that is closest to your skin color, and adjust the slider to just the right amount. You can also use eyeshadow to remove dark circles around and above the eyes.

Blush

The appearance of skin can be further improved by applying a hint of blush. Go to the "Blush" tab under "Face", and choose the color of blush appropriate for your photo. The slider amount can be used to chose between a subtle to a dramatic look. The various blush styles can be chosen to accentuate certain attributes of the face like the cheek bones. Notice that unlike in Photoshop, the application blush takes into account the shading on the face and does not look like a simple overlay with transparency.

Eyeshadow

Eyes are the most expressive part of the human face, and its not a coincidence that there are more cosmetic products available for the eyes than other parts of the face. To select an eye shadow, go to the "Eyes" tab and select "Shadow". You can chose multi tone eyeshadows to create perfect smokey eyes. Eyeshadows closer to the skin tone of the person in the photograph can be used to remove dark circles around the eyes.

Eyeliner

Eyeliners define the eyes and can make them look larger (or smaller). In a portrait photograph eyeliner may not stand out because lighting, JPEG compression and simply because the person in the photograph did not wear eyeliners. To apply eyeliner go to the "Eyeliner" tab, and select a color and a style. You can smudge the eyeliner using the slider at the bottom.

Eyebrow shaping

The eyebrows in the photo can be shaped using the eyebrow thinning slider in the "Lashes" tab.

Mascara and false eyelashes

Imagine having beautiful eyelashes without using eyelash extensions, eyelash glue or having to use an eyelash curler. Under the "Lashes" tab you can select several different eyelashes. Use the slider to increase the amount of mascara. Use the conventional black mascara or try come colors with a loreal mascara or a mabeline mascara!.

Colored contacts -- change eye color

Using color contacts on in the Taaz picture editor, you can get beautiful blue eyes, hazel eyes, or brown eyes. The color of the eyes are changed by carefully preserving the effects of lighting, and moisture in the eye because we at Taaz understand how light interacts with eyes to reveal the inner beauty.

Remove red eye

Removing red eye in Taaz is easy! Just check the checkbox "Remove red eye" under the "Contacts" tab, and red eyes will be gone!

Lipstick -- change lip color

Choose from hundreds of lipstick colors using the color wheel. You can increase the gloss on the lips by moving the gloss slider. The gloss respects the natural lighting on the lips.

Lipliner

Define your lips using a a lipliner. The lipliner should be chosen a shade darker than the lipstick color. Lipliner makes your lips look plump without using a plumper

Got thin lips! Well use the lip plump slider to get Angelina Jolie's lips!

Hair Styles and Hair Color

You can also apply virtual hair styles on your photo. Choose from hundreds of hair styles and categories -- long , short, mid-length, curly, straight, wavy, layered, one-length or updo.

Hair Highlights and Lowlights

With a click of a button you can add hair highlights and hair lowlights to the applied hairstyle.
