To copy Shenae's hair, which seems slightly roughed up but still touchable, blow dry your hair using your fingers to scrunch the ends and to achieve volume at the roots. Once your hair is completely dry, twist it and tie it up in fabric shreds, which act as homemade curlers.

To create homemade curlers, simply tear an old T-shirt or pillowcase into long, one-inch wide strips and wrap two-inch sections of hair around them as you would a curler. Secure them by tying each end of fabric into a knot.

Wrap long bangs up into a large velcro roller to keep them smooth and give them a swoopy effect like Shenae Grimes. Leave the fabric curlers and the velcro curler in for 30 minutes, then gently untie the fabric and use your fingers to separate the waves.
