Pussycat Doll Makeup TricksHow to do your makeup like the Pussycat Dolls
For a standout evening makeup look that's just right for Hollywood or Vegas (a.k.a "bad girl makeup"), get your inspiration from pop troupe the Pussycat Dolls. There are a few pre-requisites for looking like a Pussycat Doll: charcoal rimmed eyes, a flurry of false lashes and a light, luscious pout for uttering the phrase “don’t cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?” Now if only the group were adding to their litter, you’d be a shoo-in at auditions. Follow these tips to create Pussycat Doll makeup or try on the look in our virtual makeup studio. Create depth and bring out dark eyes, Pussycat Doll-style, by shading your crease with a dark brown shadow. Line your eyes with a smoky black eye shadow powder extended beyond the outer corners of the eyes, curl your lashes and apply as many as five coats of black mascara for an evening makeup look. Nicole Scherzinger is never caught without a smoky eye and a highlighted browbone to add radiance to her face. Highlight gorgeous features by blending concealer under the eyes, down the bridge of the nose and around the mouth. Follow with a water-based foundation all over and apply bronzing powder beneath the contours of your cheeks and on top of the temples (the area between the tail of the brow and the hairline) to sculpt the illusion of killer cheekbones. Pale pink or nude lips are demure. To convey a touch of mischief, skip lipstick altogether and try a gloss that’s just shy of magenta, like the color of Nicole's shirt in the Pussycat Doll's When I Grow Up video. --Stephanie Simons |
