To get Kate Beckinsale's hair, blow dry haphazardly, using your fingers instead of a brush to bring out any natural curl and to apply a bit of volumizing mousse at the crown and roots.

Once your hair is dry, get the Kate Beckinsale look by wrapping one inch sections of hair around a small barrel curling iron. Hold each section on the iron for a few seconds,  stopping a few inches short of the roots, which should remain straight (straight, smooth hair reflects light and when the crown of your head is shiny, the entire hairstyle looks healthier).
