Think bronze allover. Don't attempt to mimic Jessica Simpson’s tan with a foundation that's too dark for your skin tone. Instead, get an even glow allover with a self-tanning lotion made for the face. You can also sweep on your glow last minute with a little liquid bronzer. Finish with blush swept onto the apples of the cheeks. The face always looks more youthful when the blush is on the apples, not the contours, of the cheeks.

To copy Jessica Simpson's eye makeup, use a black eyeliner pencil and black mascara (no ifs, ands, buts or browns), and stick with light shadows on the lid and crease so that the emphasis is on your lashes. Using an eyeshadow brush, blend a white shadow from the lash line to the eyebrow and apply a smoky charcoal shadow into the lashline.
