What’s a good acne treatment?

I can’t believe I have to ask this at my age, but recently I’ve been breaking out! I need something that I can use as spot treatment, but also a good cleanser that will still be pretty gentle on the skin. What do you guys use? Any and all suggestions are appreciated. :)

• Take a few pieces of nutmeg, mix it with some unboiled milk and apply the paste on your acne. Wash it off after about two hours.
• Make a mixture of cinnamon powder and honey and apply on your pimples before you go to bed in the night. Wash it with warm water when you wake up in the morning. Do this for a fortnight and watch your pimples disappear.
• Take some orange peels grind them, mix them with a few drops of water and apply it on your face.
• Mix a tablespoon each of fresh lime juice and groundnut oil and apply it on your face to avoid blackheads.
• Leave fresh mint juice on your face overnight to tame pimples.
• Take fenugreek leaves and make a paste. Apply it every night for 15 minutes and wash it off.
• Take turmeric powder and neem leaves. Apply the mixture on your pimples. Leave it on your face for about half an hour.
• Take equal quantities of rose water and lime juice and apply the mixture on the affected area. Leave it on for 20 minutes.

Oh, i want to tell you what i use. I have very acne-prone skin that tends to be dry. I use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser to cleanse, and i use Cera Ve lotion as moisturizer.

Well there is more to fighting acne than slathering stuff on your face. First, be sure to have a healthy diet: fruits, vegetables, and plenty of water. Secondly, be sure you are not putting anything on your face that may clog pores: your makeup should be noncomedogenic, which means it won't clog pores. Your makeup should be gentle, and should contain natural ingredients. Also, be sure to wash off all makeup before bedtime! Third, you should use a good moisturizer: Olive oil, aloe, cocoa butter or any kind of all-natural moisturizing agent should be applied daily. This will nourish the skin and make it soft and supple. I hope these tips help. Good luck ;)
