What ever you do, do not use oil on your face! It will only clogg your pores and make you break out. Use a non-comedgenic lotion instead like cera ve or cetaphil. And powder foundation can look just as good as liquid if you have a primer. I use neutrogenia spf 30 dry touch and it works just like a primer but also protects.

Make up a soft/creamy paste with bicarbonate of soda & virgin olive oil. Exfoliate your skin gently working in circles with this 3 times a week..evening is good. Rinse with warm water then clean off with Dove soap. Use your normal night moisturiser after. Your skin will feel lovely..guaranteed.

I would recommend you wash your face in the evening with a glycolic acid cleanser (find one on Amazon), and wash with Cetaphil cleanser in the morning. I would suggest following up by wiping your face with Witch Hazel. Then I would use mineral powder foundation. Liquid foundations support the acne baceria and will only make your skin problems worse. www.bareminerals.com
You need to be using a makeup remover wipe, to remove your makeup. If you don't, you'll be working the makeup farther into your pores; which is the last thing you want to do-you can just use baby wipes. Could you get back to me in a couple weeks & let me know how your skin is doing?

I'm taking doctor prescribed ones, im'm not sure what they're called. I wash my face once a day with an exfoliating scrub by St.Ives, and i wear liquid Almay foundation and press powder by E.L.F. My pores are small, but visibil more on my nose and cheeks.

What acne medications were you taking? Can you tell me your current skincare routine? For example: Wash 2x a day with Dove soap, wear liquid foundation, etc. Can you look in front of your bathroom mirror really closely and let me know about the visibility of your pores. For example: Really visible on the nose and chin, but much smaller on cheeks, etc. Or are pores very small everywhere?
