I used Optimum Swiss Apple Overnight Skin Renewal Serum. And after using the serum for a few days, I did notice that my skin was noticeably softer and looked brighter

I use mannnnnny
1.Simply Pure RICE
2.Nuetrogena Deap Clean
3.St.Ives Facial Cleanser and
4. Olay Gentle Foaming face wash
All of them work, but you have to change every couple of monthes because, if your skin gets used to the same face wash, it won't have any effect on your skin.

The type of face wash you use should depend on your skin type. My skin is combination so I have a few favorites:
1. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser.....Very gentle, for all skin types.
2. Garnier Moisture Rescue Fresh Cleansing Foam...Deep cleaning, oil-free.
3. Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash....Really foamy, all skin types.
4. Cara Mia Glycolic Cream Cleanser.....from my Dermatologist.

i use simple because it is a real wake up method and it takes about one minute to do. plus it leaves my skin looking really fresh. there is a light moisturiser that goes with it that helps to.

Wow! Thanks so much! I'll definitely look into this. My skin is medium dry and I don't have lots of pimples, but I wish my face was completely clear. Your comment really helped a bunch! Thanks again!

Also, I forgot to mention that it's better to invest in a serum or treatment for the face rather than a cleanser. Serums have smaller molecules to penetrate the skin and treat your skin issues while cleansers are on your skin for 2 minutes max and then you wash it off.

Honestly, you don't really need to spend that much $$ on face wash. However, there are some things that you should focus on such as makeup removal, hydration and treatments for various issues such as acne or anti-aging. For example, if you have dry skin, you should focus on a milky, hydrating cleanser that is pH balanced. Foamy cleansers can sometimes leave skin really dry and tight feeling, so if you have dry skin, try to avoid these type of cleansers. Also, you should exfoliate 1-2x week. On the other hand, people with oily skin should use deep pore cleansers or exfoliating washes with salicylic acid to regulate their oil and potential breakouts. Combination skin people can use pretty much anything, but salicylic acid cleansers are good to control their T-zone shine, blackheads and so forth. They also need to exfoliate 1-2x a week, and they also need to make sure that the drier areas of their face are hydrated enough.
