it really depens on what type of skin you have benzoyl peroxide or salycic acid might work- also 2 weird things that sometimes work is putting toothpaste on the area and covering in with a bandade over night and if you have sensitive skin wash it with honey for a while your face will glow!!! i have done it

First be sure to cleanse. Never sleep with your makeup on. Wash your face before you go to bed. Use a toner to be able to remove all cosmetics.
Make sure that the applicators that you are going to use on your face are clean all the time so that you can reduce the amount of bacteria that can cause acne breakouts.
Avoid dairy and oily foods because these may worsen the breakout on your face.
When shopping for your makeup, avoid anything that has an oil base. Try using a powder based foundation like Bare Minerals because powders can absorb the excess oil while the liquid type can only add more oil on your face. Also use tea tree oil to clear up your skin.

I use Clean & Clear Acne Gel and it always works like a charm for me. Also, whenever I have pimples pop up, I make sure I drink a lot of water; I am convinced this helps keep my skin clear.

Go to the drugstore & buy a bottle of Witch Hazel for a few dollars. Start wiping your face with it morning, noon & night. It should clear up your pimples.
