That's interesting...most people have the opposite (oily t-zone, dryer areas everywhere else). I think a good idea is just to hydrate your t-zone before applying a foundation. Try waiting about 20 minutes so that the moisturizer completely soaks into your skin before applying makeup. As for an oil-controlling foundation, opt for ones that are oil-free. Otherwise, powder foundations are a good option. Go for medium coverage to cover up the red areas.
