I would recommend Micro-dermabrasion. "Neutrogena Healthy Skin Rejuvenator Kit" is a great product to start with. You can pick it up at any drugstore for around $46. This will exfoliate your skin and help even out your tone. A treatment such as Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum will help the tone, texture and "brightness". Make sure to moisturize and use sunscreen. I really like Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Sun Damage Daily Lotion SPF 28 because it reduces the appearance of discolorations. I think if you start with your skin, makeup will apply more easily and you will find you have less to cover. I hope this helps! I know it's 3 different brands but I've tried them all and have had great results!

Hey you ! The magic of makeup can be terrific for any problem. We have all had dull complexions I am sure at points in our lives, so don't fret so bad about it kay! It defenitly can be fixed.. or concealed. I would take a look at your skin regime.. Add more radiance boosting products. Exfoliate. Keep moisturized. If you feel you need more shaping to your face or to de focus from contrast colours you don't want on your face (maybe a bit of hair?) I would for sure wax some areas, give some shape your eye brows with that. They frame the eyes and face and brows are soo important. As for blotchiness or uneven skin tone I would give yourself a nice base of foundation, probably liquid and a bit of cream, then conceal areas you feel you want to conceal. Go lightly at first though, take a look in the mirror for a couple of minutes and "diagnose" what you want to treat. Don't forget to add some warmth from a bronzer and blush to your cheekbones!. But yes, if you feel your not into makeup or don't want to go those steps I would do the skincare stuff! And embrace your beauty :)
