Scars and discolouration

Scars and discolouration

In my late teens I got a few spots around my chin area.. they have left red marks and small scars that most wouldn't notice but without make-up I feel very insecure! Is there any exfoliants or oils/creams I could use? My skin is sensitive and I'm allergic to all the clean and clear products they are too harsh on my skin and can cause a rash :/ not a very good look! I recently got into using home remedies and I heard that tomatoes are good for scarring I was wondering why this was? and whether there was any truth behind it?

i also got a scar on my chin an my knees..i applied sebo de macho and lemon juice into it and bang! it disappeared...i prefer using lemon juice but if you applied lemon juice on your scar..don't let the scar be heated on the sun...just apply it and let it dry for ten minutes..and for the sebo de could just leave it all day long but you should at least massage it while watching television or if you're not doing really worked on me but i don't know for you.. why don't you just give it a try?

I haven't heard about the tomato thing but a prescription retinoid cream can help with the scarring. It make take a few months and it won't erase the scars but will make them better no doubt. Maderma Advanced Scar Gel is another product highly recommended in the treatment of scars. For cover-up, try using foundation primer such as "Make Up For Ever HD Microperfecting Primer" and apply an even coat over the scars. Use concealer on top, (a shade lighter than foundation) and blend your foundation over the concealer. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage and Estee Lauder Maximum Coverage are 2 great concealers to try. You can always ask for a sample to try before you buy. Sorry, I don't know many home remedies but these are some great products for you to try. Good Luck!
