for the dry skin around your mouth, whenever i have dry skin, i put vaseline all round my mouth when i go to bed, and when i wake up it's hardly dry anymore.

Nature has some of the best moisturisers. trying applyinng avocado pulp all over your body and face. it has a natural beautigying oil that soothens, moisturisers an d heals. i often use the pulp ,especially on my heels, they tend to crack and get flaky. but after apllying the pulp , i have no more cracked painful heals. it has been 2 months, no cracks, just baby smooth skin not just the heels but the rest of my body as well.im also using an avocado based facial cleanser, abrand found only in asia.im sure there are a lot of brands that has avocado oils in it. like bodyshop's.

Well sounds like you have naturally dry skin all over, but it wouldn't hurt to drink more water, take vit C and eat more fruits/veggies. All of these things will help to boost the moisture levels in your skin.

As for products, I agree with @Rory! For body, use Cetaphil or a body butter. You need something thick and emollient. For the face, you need a serum with hyaluronic acid (bc it binds to water) and a cream for your face as well.

Also, check with your dermatologist bc you may have eczema. If so, the dr might be able to prescribe you some heavier duty creams and treatments :)

You definitely need a good moisturizer for your face - I like Oil of Olay. And for the body a rich body cream. If you're flaky around the mouth, at night rub a thick layer of Vaseline on your lips and around your mouth. Sounds weird, but it helps with moisturizing.

What products are you currently using? For your body, try to moisturize right when you get out of the shower, when your skin is still damp. Try a body cream like Eurcerin or Cetaphil. Aquaphor is wonderful for really dry areas. You may want to use a creamy body wash instead of soap. Dove and Olay make nice moisturizing body washes. Okay, so now for your face.......Try Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, which is soap free. Try splashing your face with water instead of soaking your face. Another option for cleanser is Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser. I would recommend exfoliating your face once a week, this will with some of the flakiness. Make sure to moisturize morning and night. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion is fabulous for transforming flaky complexions into dewy ones. I hope this helps you....send me a message if you need any more recommendations! Good Luck!
