i don't think you can necessarily get rid of oily skin...but you can control it but using the right products. look for skin care products designed for oily skin. toners are great for oil control.

Clean & Clear makes pretty good products for oily skin. Have you tried any of those washes? I use an orange one Morning Burst I think right when I wake up.

I agree with @BrianaEHernandez to make sure that you hydrating your skin with a moisturizer. Mattifiers are great for oily skin types. Also, mineral veil and blotting sheets are great touch-up tools throughout the day to remove excess shine/oil. Also, have you tried a clay mask? When I used to be pretty oily, this helped to regulate it. It also helped to calm down any breakouts.

I know it sounds funny but your skin may be producing excessive sebum (oil) because of the lack of moisture. People with oily skin are really afraid to moisturize properly and the skin begins to over compensate to make up for it. Incorporate an oil free moisturizer to your skin care regimen and you will see a difference in time. For a quick fix, use MAC mattifier (little black tube) it is gel form and work great if applied to T zone prior to applying makeup. I use it on ALL my brides (even if no oily skin is present) to reduce any shine on photos.

I myself have oily skin and have found that less product (makeup) is better.
I wash morning and night no exceptions, never fall into bed too tired to wash your face. I also try to wash my face as soon as possible after a gym session.
I use Clean and Clear Oil-Free Face Soap and gently wash with the scrubbing pad from L'Oreal Go 360 Clean. Then moisturize with Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Moisturizer. The lotion is oil free so it won't give your face the feeling of a layer of ick sitting on top of it and the salicylic acid in it helps prevent breakouts, which my oily skin is prone to (because I can't stop touching my face). In the past I specifically did not moisturize because I thought, 'why, my skin is already so greasy?' When you wash your face you are stripping off your natural oils, this can make your face feel dry and trick your skin into working over time creating oil and making your forehead shine! If you apply lotion and moisturize with an oil free alternative you put the brakes on your face creating oil.
For daily use I either go without foundation/powder/etc.. or I very sparsely use concealer. Mainly under my eyes or on any breakouts. I also carry oil blotting sheets, just about every face/makeup company makes a brand, and blot as needed throughout the day to keep the shine away.
My final tip is to drink a lot of water. I drink truly excessive amounts of water because I have found that a well hydrated self equals a less oily face.
