I'm cheating. I studied this in school.
-Stay hydrated. Coconut water gives your skin radiance.
-Cleanse twice a day with a gentle sulfate-free cleanser.
-Don't touch your face, unless you have just washed your hands.
-Put on a shower filter to reduce the chlorine in your water.
-Sleep on a satin pillowcase.
-Use an alcohol free toner, to raise your skin back to the proper pH. I use rose water. It smells wonderful & makes the skin super soft. If your skin is oily, I would recommend Witch Hazel.
-Don't use liquid foundation. To your skin, that is as suffocating as beige paint. Either wear mineral makeup or a tinted moisturizer with an SPF.
-It's not necessary to wear face makeup everyday. Give your skin a break every now & then and just wear eye makeup/lip gloss.
-The big one is exfoliating. As we age, our skin's natural exfoliating process slows down, causing our complexions to look dull. Find a gentle face scrub and use it every 3 days. Never use body scrubs on the face. The granules are too big & will cause microscopic tears.
-Get a facial at least once every 2-3 months; to get a really deep cleaning. Your Esthetician is qualified to take out your blackheads without causing scars. You should never try to do this yourself.
