Whitening teeth

asked
What is the cheapest and easiest way to whiten my teeth? I've tried whiten strips but they just hurt my gums and turn them bright red and I know thats not good for my teeth.

Which white strips have you tried? I've found some are worse than others, but also I use Crest 3D toothpaste and then stay away from coffee/wine/soda and they are already looking brighter.

Hydrogen peroxide is actually the main ingredient in teeth whitening strips. Try using a lower percentage of it (liquid form commonly used to clean cuts and scratches) when brushing your teeth with your normal toothpaste.

Look I just recently shared an article with this tip :)

A good and cheap way is to use 'bicarbonate of soda' (baking powder) it takes a whie to start whitening depending on how 'yellow' your teeth are. Its got a nasty after taste but it's worth it, and it worked for me :) Put some toothpaste on your brush as normal then dip your toothbrush into the baking powder and scrub! You should notice a difference in about 2 weeks! If that's too long to wait then seek advice from a dentist.

I used to use the bleaching gel from the dentist but now I buy the Crest Whitestrips Advanced. I keep them on for about 30 minutes every day for 7 days. You can do every other day if your gums are sensitive. They shouldn't turn your gums bright red though. Be careful to place them directly on your teeth so you don't get the gel on your gums. You can check for good deals on professional teeth whitening too.....my husband did it and had great results.
