I use the Sally Hansen one. You can buy it at Target or Walmart.

I used to have weak nails that peeled and tore easily, but it was suggested to me to cut my nails instead of filing, and once I tried this, it really worked. Don't use clippers or files for as long as possible and apply 2 or more coats of nail polish, clear if you'd prefer, to protect them as they strengthen. This acts as an extra layer of nail, and will discourage ripping and breaking. Hope this helps! :) x

I like to put Sally Hansen's "Hard As Nails" nail liquid-polish-strengthener on my nails. It always works! I hate it when my nails are brittle and weak as well...

I have used essie's rock solid ultimate strength treatment and I am very pleased with the results. I have extremely brittle nails, but this product has stopped some of the constant breaking. I agree with @rorygautsche, if may nail polish chips then I am more tempted to pick at them. That's an incentive to always have my hands well manicured =P
