What's the best foundation and powder for a beautiful matt finish ?

I've always used drugstore makeup because it's so much cheaper than Sephora/Mac ect.But I've recently gotten a job and can afford a more wider range of makeup.What do you guys suggest?

I would recommend Bare Minerals matte foundation. It's made from powdered minerals from the earth. It performs just as well as a liquid foundation in terms of coverage, as long as you layer it. Believe me, you do not want to be wearing liquid foundation on a hot July day. The mineral makeup will stand up to heat and sweat. You can exercise in it, and it will still look absolutely beautiful.
