But if you must! A medium to dark, smoky eye will help you to appear older. Also, don't forget to style your hair in a chic way - straighten it, low bun, loose updo.

I think a lot of it has to do with overall styling - clothes, makeup, hair. Seriously, once you get older though, A LOT of fun styles aren't "age appropriate" anymore. My advice is to embrace your style as well as your youth. Confidence also helps you to appear older ;) Who cares what other people think? As long as you're having fun right?

Try using darker shadows like browns and coppers (avoid blacks for everyday looks). They'll give you a more matured look!

I have exactly the same issue. People think I'm 13... I'm 17. It really sucks and I don't know what to do. I wear heels, make-up... And I still look younger, it sucks.

Well, I don't know any techniques myself, but all I can offer for advise is that it may suck to seem younger than you are now, but when you're 30 years old and looking like your 20, who'll be laughing then, eh?

All I can think of is packing it on. Im hesitant to recommend that however, because whenever you want to wear a more natural look, you will appear undone! Embrace your youth as it doesn't last for ever. In 10 years you will be posting the exact opposite question. LOL!
