What is the best foundation and eyeliner for oily skin?

asked
I have super oily skin, I've tried Smashbox, clinique, and neutrogena. But none of them ever keep the promise of "long term wear". I want a product or product(s) that is oil free, and actually does what it says it's supposed to do, which is stay on and NOT fade or smear. Any advice on what brand I should try now?

I would start by washing your face using a cleanser designed for oily skin. Then, use some gauze to wipe your face & neck with Witch Hazel. Then wapply a primer designed for oily complexions. Let it set for a few minutes. I think you would probably do best with mineral powder foundation

The minerals come from the earth-the hotest, sweatiest place there is. I think they will be able to handle your oily complexion okay.

Hourglass makes a liquid to powder foundation that seems to get excellent reviews from people with oily skin. And, of course, make sure to always use a good primer under your foundation. It can make all the difference.

As for eyeliner, that tends to differ from person to person. I like the Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes pencils because they're waterproof and don't smudge on my eyes. Some people seem to like the Urban Decay 24/7s. I also like to use a good quality eye primer and apply it right onto the lashline. If it gets into your lashes, it's not a big deal-- in fact, it will help your mascara's longevity!
