What brand of liquid foundation and brush should I get?

What brand of liquid foundation and brush should i get?

asked
I want to start transitioning into liquid foundation (from concealer/cover sticks) and I was wondering what a good (but affordable!) brand would be; I need a brush too, so any recommendations are greatly appreciated. (: I'd also like some tips on general application. (:

I love the MAC Foundation brush, it's my favorite of all the ones I've tried. You could try a liquid tinted moisturizer. They are great for all skin types and perfect for the summer months ahead. They usually have SPF's which is an added bonus. My favorite is the NARS tinted moisturizer, Laura Mercier makes a great one too. You will love how lightweight they are with the perfect amount of coverage for summer!

We're going into the summer months, & you do not want your face to be sweating under a layer of liquid foundation!!! Look into mineral powder foundation. It's a powder, but covers the way a liquid foundation does. It stands up to the summer sun/heat. The minerals absorb your sweat and keeps your face dry. You use a kubuki brush to apply it. Go to their site & watch their videos-you'll get the hang of it.

Recently, I just bought a liquid foundation from Hourglass called Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation, and I absolutely love it! It's healthy for the skin too, not formulated with parabens, synthetics, etc. It was $55 at Sephora, but I don't use it all the time and a little goes a long way. For application, I either use my beautyblender sponge or my flat dome synthetic brush (you can get one from elf cosmetics). Another brush recommendation would be a stipple brush (also pictured from elf) if you prefer an airbrushed look.

Oh and for drugstore foundation, I'd recommend L'oreal True Match, the Beyonce-endorsed one, because you'll have a wide selection of colors to truly match your skin tone.
