What are some pretty matte makeup looks and cute hairstyles?

asked
So, I had posted this before, but I guess it never posted >:( So I'm gonna be a bridesmaid in a couple days. The dress is mocha colored and it's very...flowy I suppose, and it's pretty simple. We're supposed to use matte makeup and I was wondering what colors and styles I can do my makeup. I also need some hairstyle ideas. Thanks! :)

my answer must not have worked before...or you deleted it....???
the colour of the dress is really good to work with
so to make it really pretty id do a goldish or brown eyeshadow, brown eyeliner along the top and botom, light black mascara, light pink blush and a reddish brownish lipstick...
for your hir i would do a french braid on the crown of your head from your left to right ear and a low ponytail on the right side.. all curled where the braid ends.
I have attached some pictures as examples but feel free to play around with it.
Have fun being at the wedding :)

french-braid
i would go with a light brown or goldish eyeshadow and a dep brown eyeliner. Black mascara.. but not too much or it will overdo it. Do a light pink or bright reddish brown lipstick :)
For hairstyles... with the hair on the crown of your haid, start at the left ear and braid to the right ear.. once it reaches the right ear curl it and put it into a low ponytail on the side.

You're lucky with the dress color because you have a lot of choices. You can do gold shadow, lilac, light green. For hairstyles, I would do a pretty, low loose updo. Depending on the 'theme' of the wedding, add a hair pin or small flowers. Post pics with what you decide to do! :0)

I would do some type of updo-French twist or other fancy type thing. As far as the makeup goes, get in touch with the other girls & find out what they're doing. It's important that the makeup is put on in a similar fashion or you end up with photos where one girl has on a lot of makeup and another is hardly wearing any, and all the coloring is off. You might all want to chip in for a professional makeup artist to come & make you all up. Another suggestion would be, to get a few bridal mags and study the makeup on the models & try to re-create that look. Another option, would be to make a purchase at MAC & one of their artists will put matte makeup on you.
