It depends on what kind of makeup- I'd say at 12, just lip gloss is fine. Next year, move on to concealer and mascara. Then at 14, use anything and everything. ;)

First, I would suggest asking your parents and explain why you want to wear makeup. Maybe start with using a little mascara, blush, lipgloss and then add from there. You will be surprised how much you will love being able to wear just a few simple products.
The key will be do not wear a lot of makeup and remember that makeup is used to enhance your natural features not make you look like someone else. :)

You are a little young. But if you like makeup, try not to wear colors that are too dark. If you wear black eyeshadow, don't put a lot. Hope this helps

well im gonna be 13 in 2 months and i started wearing make up wen i was 8 or 9 my moms kool like that but maybe start wearing ligh make up all i been wearing is primer power eyliner mascara and thats relly it and i use proactive to keep my skin clean from all the make up i tend to wear

I started wearing makeup when I was 12, because I saw all the other girls my age were doing it. I would suggest talking this over with your mom. Maybe you and your mom can pick out a pretty lipgloss for you to wear.
