Pressed Powder or Loose Powder?

My friend and I were talking about the differences between pressed powder and loose powder and which one we prefer. I actually like both, but tend to gravitate more toward pressed powders for coverage and to set my foundation. She likes loose powder. That got me wondering, which type of powder do YOU prefer? Why? Please share your thoughts about this with us, as well as any powder product recommendations.

Loose powder is what I use because it seems to go on light and soft. It has great coverage too. This comment has been removed.

I personally like the pressed powder better, it gives me ALOT more coverage then mineral powder.. [[an AWSOME pressed powder, that i use myself, is "studio fix,mac" the pressed obviously; BOMB coverage :)]] The only time i really wear mineral is if im going for a natural, sheer look. I prefer solid or pressed due to the convenience factor (traveling with it and applying it). I heard that loose has less chemicals though. Not sure on the truth of that one though as it was just girl talk. This comment has been removed.

I like pressed powder better to set my foundation and for touch-ups. I don't like to carry loose powder because I worry about spilling it. I do however like Bare Minerals. I carry Cargo pressed powder but I also love Chanel. This comment has been removed.
