Looking for help with make-up! <3 pretty please. =)

asked
I'm a bridesmaid in a friends wedding in 2 weeks, and I hardly ever wear make-up. (I'm a bit of a tomboy) My dress for the wedding is black, and my hair is black with bright red highlights. Anyone who can help, would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks so much everyone. =)

Hi :)

As you said you're a bit of a tomboy, I don't think that overly girly makeup would suit you. That's why I recommend a 60's look! You can start by using a light base such as a tinted moisturiser (if you wish). You can then apply a medium sized line of liquid eyeliner and flick it out at the corner of your eye, and a couple of coats of black mascara. Finish with a sweep of peach blush across your cheek bones, and if you're feeling brave then you can also wear a bright red lipstick! An up-do with height and a side fringe would complete the look.

For help on applying liquid liner, check out this video I found. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpzJ5TETW3U&feature=fvwrel

I hope you have fun at the wedding :) x

heyy good luck and congrats!
start with a good foundation and then blush along you cheekbone
for your eyes i used a shimmery base and plum shadow and dramatic liner on top i wouldnt do bottom also i suggest falsies
since your lips are thin id go with a subtle colour
id do your hair with some height and a side sweep

I'd start with a good fair foundation and add colour to the eyes and lips. If you start small you can always build the colour until you're happy with it. Choose a hairstyle with a bit of height but not width.

I would have your make-up done professionally. MAC counters offer free makeovers with a purchase. Find one in your area, and make the appointment early in the day. They do a good job, and will even put fake lashes on for you.

I think a nice fair toned matte foundation with bronzer on the cheeks for contouring would look nice. Because of your hair and dress color, I'd go with a red lip stain so you don't have to worry about it getting on your teeth (scary). Enhance your eyes with a thin line of black liner and a few coats of mascara. FAlsies are always nice for all the pictures you will be taking. Make sure to get a natural looking strip that is not too heavy or long. Adding just a base to your lids will give off a nice soft shimmer really bringing attention to your liner and eye color. Have a great time at the wedding!
