You can start by applying a brownish tone eyeshadow over entire lid, (make sure to prime lid first). Then apply black eyeliner and smudge with sponge brush. The smudging is key to give the "smokey" look. Use black or dark grey eyeshadow and apply OVER the liner and into the crease blending well. Keep blending and you will have a gorgeous smokey eye! And don't forget lots of black mascara!
