you would even look good if you cut it all off or even just had a little bit of hair very short... but if u want a pick between braids or dreads i say go braids

You should grow an afro

I really like the current curly style. I thin both braids and dread can become a little hot and heavy for summer time. Unless you will be trying to grow the hair out and keep it way from the face, I would go for braids. Keep in mind that both dreads and braids can cause breakage if not done right or are too tight.

Just go with a short haircut and forget all that other stuff.
