what kind of shampoo and conditioner do you recommend?

My hair is extremely dry and whenever I go to a salon to get it colored they say they really don't wanna do it because they are afraid my hair will begin to fall out

Be sure to look for shampoos for "color treated" and damaged hair. Bumble and Bumble makes a great hair mask for dry damaged hair and gentle shampoos. Use cool setting when blow drying and use a wide toothed comb to get tangles out. It will improve, I promise, just be patient.

Kerastase is amazing.....it's pricey and only sold at select salons, (or online) but it's absolutely amazing for dry hair. They have a fabulous hair mask that you can use once a week. I also recommend Morracan Shampoo/Conditioner. What are you currently using?
