I would suggest looking up cosmetology schools in your area, and having one of their students do a fancy twist up-do for you. The cosmetology schools charge about ten dollars for this, and do a really great job. There are lots of Prom mags out right now. Get a current issue from the store, and look through the hairstyles on the models. When you find one you like, clip it out and take it with you.
