When going in with a fun color, you really don't have to take your sin tone into consideration. Its pretty much whatever color you favor. Go for the purl. Its a nice deep tone that fades nicely compared to other vibrant shades.

Purple in dark brown would look nice :) I have black hair and I've done royal blue, midnight blue, and purple. I loved them all. Its a lot of fun.
