I look your current length but think you can make it appear less heavy by adding medium layers. Even a light side bang would look good. have your side bangs end parallel to the eye and connect all the way down around the face. As for the interior layers around the rest of the hair, I would start them between cheek and lip length to remove all the excess build and achieve a light, more flattering hair style.

The length you have is nice...not too long not too short. Its a perfect length. However, I would suggest taking the bulk out by layering and framing your face.
