I think it would look good but you may want to start with a dark brown and light caramel highlight first as to not go too drastic in one step.

You have really pretty hair but I think a light brown would also be fabulous on you! I would stay away from anything "too blonde" but a deep golden blonde would suit you well. I attached 2 pics of some hair colors that I think would look great on you! Try the "Makeover" tool for some more ideas!
