I have hair appt in morning. I need to get away from the blonde because of the damage it has caused my hair. What do you think?

Thanks to everyone...I went with the mahogany but my stylist still put a few platinum blonde highlights on the top/face area. I love it so much, will post pic soon! I think this was a good choice so that it wasnt so drastic of a change for me! Planning to go totally mahogany/auburn this winter! This comment has been removed.

Love look #1. It really flatters your skin tone and makes your eyes pop! This comment has been removed.

I also wanted to suggest an at-home treatment that would really seal in your new hair color, and make it look shiny and healthy. You can buy it on Amazon for $7/John Frieda Liquid Shine Clear Hair Glaze. This comment has been removed.

I think that you should go in between the two colors. Like a golden color. This comment has been removed.

I think light blonde shades are over-rated. I'm thinking of dyeing my hair so I no longer would have grey hair and wanted to consider different colors. I considered platinum blond and darker shades, and with the help of some polls a consensus was developed that I would look best as strawberry blond. You do look great with mahogany by the way. Just for grins you might play around with some intermediate colors. -- John

@GoodFaith Thanks....funny about the professional point, I graduate from college next week and that is another big factor in stepping away from the blonde! Thanks for the tip on the sulfate-free shampoo =) This comment has been removed.

The mahogany looks great on you, very professional & very sophisticated. Make sure you purchase a "Sulfate-Free" shampoo or your color will fade quickly. This comment has been removed.
