You should brush it when it is wet, so then when it dries up it won't be tangled :) Also, when you wash your hair be sure to put on conditioner! It will be much easier to brush your hair when you put on conditioner. If you take a shower before bed, brush your hair after so then it doesn't become tangled easily in the morning! Hope this advice helps!

I agree with @ProfessorBeauty! Use one of those big tooth combs and spritz a little detangler or leave-in conditioner before combing out when wet :)

Use a wide tooth comb while hair is wet. Use a brush when dry. If you are concern with tangles then I would suggest trying a detangling spray or even a leave-in conditioner to help you out.

comb your hair with a wide toothed comb first and then brush it, combing with a wide toothed comb gets the tangles out without much pain. After you comb your hair go back over it with a brush to smooth out the gaps a comb leaves behind.

When brushing hair, it is best for the hair to be dry. Brushing wet hair can cause breakage as the brush stretches the wet hair and can cause it to snap. If you like to detangle hair while wet, make sure to use a good leave in conditioner and a wide tooth comb.

Its easiest to brush your hair when it is wet, right after you have applied conditioner and leave-in detangler spray.

You need to use a wide-toothed comb (available at the drugstores) to gently comb thru wet hair. Start at the bottom and work your way up. I would actually recommend brushing your hair before washing it, and it usually helps keep it straight afterwards.
