Products that thicken hair?

asked
I have long hair, but it's really thin. Are there any products that create more volume. I only want recomendations, if you have actually used the product yourself and seen the results. In this economy, I don't have money to throw away.

You can increase the hair thickness by adding some extensions. Tape-ins would really help in adding more girth. As for styling products, there are several good ones on the market such as Dense by Big Sexy Hair" however because of the length most of the results will drop out. Also, a lot of the thickening products on the market are more intended to be used on the scalp for added lift or volume rather than throughout the length. Cutting your hair in a more medium style would be effective also, but the long looks so good on you! Try dense first, as it is meant to be used down the whole strand. If this is still not enough, I think you'd really benefit from having tape-in extensions.

You'd be better off cutting your hair to a bob and keeping like that for 3 months max, then slowly grow it out. To make it permanently thicker. Hardly any products will help unless they're really expensive and Class A.

I've also heard great things about the Pure Abundance Aveda line. Just spend your money on the serum though. Don't waste on the shampoo and conditioner.

Also, Ovation works. My friend just uses the treatment and not the entire line. So that should save $ by only buying one product.
