If you're not sure, you can go to your hairdresser and ask her to put in a demi-permanent color or color gloss of a shade you're considering. They wash out over a month, but in the meantime, you will see if it suits you or not. When coloring your hair permanently, ask yourself about the time and money it will cost you to maintain. Root regrowth is usually visible every 6 weeks. You might want to consider adding highlites or lowlites to your exisiting color instead.
