It's what's inside that counts! Meaning you want to make sure you are eating right and taking the right amount of daily supplements needed. Also massaging the scalp and brushing your hair nightly helps and makes a difference too.

Reading your last comment down below it sounds like you would really benefit from having a keratin treatment done. My favorite is the Copella Keratin Complex. It really helps to reduce unruly textures as well as allows the hair to lay more flat and smooth. Because the hair is in a healthier state once treated with the keratin, it really does grow faster as a result. Make sure to trim your ends regularly as well for maximum results. Cutting about 1/2" every 4-6wks for shorter styles and 6-8wks for longer is usually a good rule of thumb.

Hair grows on average about half an inch a month. Hair grows in cycles. There's the Anagen phase, which is the growth phase. The Catagen, which is the transition phase, and then Telogen, which is when the hair falls out. Then the cycle repeats. Right now, your hair may be in the stage, where it just doesn't do anything for a while. I know it's frustrating, but you're in luck. Hair growth usually speeds up in the summer months; because of the heat. You can also help stimulate the circulation/blood flow to your head, by giving yourself a scalp masage every night before bed. I would also recommend a product called BioSil, which contains silica. This is a building block in your hair, skin & nails. I would also suggest regular trims-every 6 weeks or so. This may seem counterintuitive since you're trying to grow out your hair, but split ends will just slow things down in the long run. You can ask your hairstylist to give you a "Dusting". This type of trim only clips the far, far ends.

theres no way to magucaly make ur hair grow inches overnight, but these techniques will help. use the shampoo 'mane and tail' massage your scalp daily, eat hair growth vitamins, eat fruits and vegtables, dont wash your hair every day becasue the grease and oils in your hair help make it grow faster ( so maybe shower every other day) i hope i helped! :) <3
