If you want your red to show up more it is necessary to budge your brown first. You will have to use a color remover in order to do this. You don't want to lighten too much. Merely budge the darkness and rinse once you are at a reddish stage. Shampoo the rover out thoroughly but skip the conditioner for now. Next reapply a reddish brown to your hair and allow to process. Shampoo and condition the hair after rinsing out your target shade. Be aware that this is considered a correction. Because of this, I would leave it to a professional to achieve. If you try to apply a red over your current color without budging it first, your color will only before even darker and harder to budge later.
