how to get red out of hair?

a friend of mine used a brown dye and it came out dark red! she really hates it so i was wondering if there was any home remedies she could try? thanks :)

Unfortunately the only way to remove color is to use a color remover or bleach.

Dandruff shampoo will pull a lot of the coloring out. I would put it on while your hair still dry and work it in & leave it on five-ten minutes. I would recommend locating a cosmetology school on YELP in your area. They can re-color her hair for cheap-you'd be getting the expertise of their experienced instructors.
