Use an iron curler.

I would curl your hair using vertical sections down the head using a large 1 1/2-2" barrel. A large barrel will create a softer, more lose wave pattern. Parting your sections vertically will help to elongate the appearance of your length while horizontal is better for volume but shrinks the style more. Make sure to apply a leave in conditioner as well as a thermal protectant before drying and curling.

Try the Chi Barrel Iron. It's nice for natural looking curls....get the thickest one. I have it and love it!

Start off with a good quality barrel curler. I would also suggest that you invest in a heat protector spray. When using the curler I like to start off at the root of the hair and work the curler wrap around the rest of the iron too. Loosen the curl iron and allow the curl to slowly come out.

I usually will flat iron natural curls straight and then use a big barrel curling iron and make big curls.

- Shampoo

Instructions :
1.Wash your hair. Use a conditioner to soften your hair and make it easy to comb.

2.Remove excess water by covering your hair with a towel, gently rubbing at the scalp and wringing out the ends of the hair. Don't rub the ends, as this causes tangles.

3.Comb your hair while it is still wet.

4.Add gel or mousse to your hair. Use as little product as possible to avoid having too much product and making your hair stiff instead of flowing.

5.Scrunch your hair if you have short hair. Take a small handful of hair near your scalp and squeeze it. Continue to scrunch that section of hair in a downward direction until that vertical section is complete. Use both hands at the same time to cover more of your hair.

6.Put your wet hair in a bun if you have long hair. Leave your hair in the bun until it dries by sleeping on it overnight. If you have wavy or curly hair, however, leave the bun in for an hour or two to create waves without making your hair too wavy.

Tips :
-Best time to use this hairstyle: when you want something cute, quick and easy.
-Also good for not damaging your hair (curling irons, blow dryers and straightners are bad for your hair if used too much)

Warnings:
-Unless you blow dry your hair, it may not be wise to use this style if it is cold outside because you do not want to be outside with wet hair.
