I suggest first getting your ends trimmed if it has been awhile. Then follow any of these youtube vids. A lot of them are how to get long hair but it applys to getting healthy hair too.

hot oil treatment - find at drugstore
fresh cut
condition-especily with conditioner without alcohol
try leave in conditioner on top of normal conditioner
there is stuff called swim shampoo but it is very similar to shampoo for hair treated with dye.

kerastase_story
I swear by Kerastase when it comes to repairing and restructuring the integrity of hair. I would recommend Bain de Force (shampoo) along with the Ciment Anti-Usure (conditioner) and Force Architecte (mask). Shampoo and conditioner are great for a daily regimen as the mast is good for once a week. Make sure not to over use mask, over proteinizing hair canned make it limp. This brand is a bit on the pricey side but more than worth the investment. It works wonders and is a very effective way to restructure ones hair!

I would also suggest finding a shampoo that says it's Sulfate-Free.

First of all, when you go swimming, Pull your hair into a bun & don't put your head in the water. The cholorine is trashing your hair; in it's current fragile condition. I would also suggest making an appointment with a hairdresser to have some keratin treatments on your hair.

Using plenty of a repairing conditioner whenever you wash your hair should do the trick...but maybe avoid straightening your hair so much? If you have a straight perm then you shoudln't need to? x
