You can use it every time you shampoo. For a proper cleansing use a different shampoo first and follow with the purple. if you begin to notice a build up then skip using it the next couple of times you shampoo then pick it up again.

You will want to tone it with an icey toner about once or twice a month. You can use a purple shampoo once a month to ensure no harsh purple tint is left behind. Id love to see your amazing color. You should post some pics!

I'm assuming the purple shampoo is for keeping the color vibrant. I would suggest once per week but you can wash your hair every other day with another shampoo. I have purple shampoo for my golden blonde hair and my stylist told me to use it once per week.
