How long will hair dye last?

I have hair blonde i'm going to dye it mid brown, i wash my hair mostly everyday. On the hair dye box it says it will last up to 8 shampoos?
So will it last 1-2 weeks??

Normally temporary dyes do fade out but often times, not completely. Especially on blond hair, because of the lightness, it may leave a bit of a stain once fading has set in.

I agree with GoodFaith. If you want it to last 2 weeks, try washing every other day. Just pop on a shower cap on the days you're not washing your hair, and your dye will definitely last you longer!

if its the kind that washes out after so many washings yes those dont last long and the more u wash the more faded and odd looking it will look also

If you want the color to last longer, try washing it every other day. Unless you're hair is really oily, it's not necessary to wash it everytime you shower. Just pull it back into a bun.
