Because natural hair growth usually averages about half an inch per month, I'd say it is pretty impossible to reach 5" of growth in only 2months without using the help of extensions. There are several different methods of extension applications. For a more temporary fix, Id recommend clip or sew ins.

5 inches of hair will take close to a year to grow. If your serious, you need to consider extensions.

Thats alot to ask from your hair, but if you want some tips to help your hair grow faster. One thing you could do it protect the roots, because the roots of what determines the length of your hair. I suggest you dont tease your hair, or use making hair products which doesn't allow your hair to breath. Massaging your scaple every night will improve the blood circulation, which prompts hair growth. There are products out there which you could use, but I personally haven't used them. Finally focus on your diet, included alot of V. C and iron.

That's a lot of hair! I don't think you could get five inches in that amount of time. If you are wanting it that long for a reason in the short of time, you can try extensions.
