It is not abnormal to experience more shedding during a season change. You are supposed to shed about 100 strands a day and if you don't wash it everyday, make sure to take that into consideration. If you haven't washed your hair for 3 days, when you do, you should have about 300 strands left behind. It seems excessive but is perfectly normal as your scalp getting really to produce another cycle of growth. Keep an eye on this. If it has not subsided within 3 months, I would recommend making an appointment to see a doctor as this could also be due to a deficiency or thyroid problem.
