You could also use a little bit of shine serum, but be careful not to touch your roots. You don't want to look greasy.

Normally any mousse applied to damp hair will achieve a curly wet look. I like Soy Mello by Sexy hair because not only does it help to give curl definition but also reduces frizz at the same time. Scrunch this product (or any other mousse) onto wet hair starting at the ends and working your way up to the roots. Once you have applied to entire head, scrunch and squeeze with a towel to remove excess moisture but do not use any heat as this will promote frizz. Last but not least pray entire head with a soft hold hairspray to lock in the look and freeze the wetness. Because of the products used, make sure not to run fingers through hair once it is styled as this will create a flaky mess!

I talked to my hairstylist friend about your question, and she said, "you have to work a good amount of mousse into freshly shampooed hair, and it will create a wet, glossy look that will last all day. It's better if you use a quality mousse from a hair salon, because it performs better & is less sticky than cheaper drugstore brands.
