Honestly, I would go a stylist if you can. Only because I have black hair and when I tried to dye it that same color it ended up red orange-y instead.

you'll have to use a hair lightener and then dye it but it will dry out you're hair a bit so use a nourishing mask. And don't leave the lightener on longer than needed!

honestly....i have had my air bleached over and over my summer last year, then noticed the box dye was making my ends literally fall off (know matter if i even used deep conditioner). so i dyed it brown with a box dye...or it was suppose to but turned it black. this happened in the winter and finally faded to my natural healthy color it is now.
i have learned one thing-IF YOU LOVE YOUR HAIR, DONT DESTROY IT BY USING BOX DYES AT HOME!!! if you go darker its healthier, by coatting it with a color and protecting your natural hair but if you go bleach it, its actually STRIPPING your hair color completely, leaving it unprotected and it will ruin your pocket buying all the heat protectant just to save your hair.
you should go to the salon and ask for a color lift so they can treat your hair like a bleaching technique w/o all the harmful chemicals and put that pretty color you want in. they deal with this stuff at the salon all the time they know what theyre doin if you dont trust me put some trust in your stylist BUT NOT IN THE CRAPPY DYE BOX AT HOME!
i hope that helped :)

Go to a salon to have this done. You don't want it to come out wrong & turn red or orangey. If a salon is too expensive, look for a cosmetology school on YELP; for your area. Look for one that has a lot of good reviews. They offer hair services for very little money-And you would be getting the expertise of the instructors.

Color by itself will not lift off other hair color. You need to use bleach or a color remover. Both are risky if you are doing this procedure yourself. I would suggest going to a professional. If you choose to do this yourself then try doing a soap cap. After you mix the bleach according to the directions add a good amount of shampoo to the mixture. Then using gloves apply the mixture to your hair as if you are washing your hair. Wait and watch. The soap/bleach mixture will begin to lighten and remove the black dye. Once you have lifted it a couple of levels you van rinse, dry and then add a pretty brown color.

you jave to bleach it first to get best results. if you dye it on your dark brown hair you will be unable to see the colour i have tried it before. :) xx
