It doesn't look bad, I would just tone it down just a tad so that its more of a sandy blond rather than so bright. You may even want to add just a few low lights to break it up and give it contrast as well.

I'm not sure if it's just the lighting, but your skin appears to have red undertones, whilst the hair colour has blue/golden ones. I would suggest a blonde(you would look amazing blonde- have you not tried it before??) like this, but with more of a strawberry tint. Platinum blonde would make you look kind of sunburnt.
