Shoulder length is fine for women over 60. The only problem is that it often tend to seem as though it drags down the features. At this age we really want things to appear more lifted up so I would suggest a longer a-line bob. The length can still be shoulder length but can be more flattering with just a few tricks. Angle the sides just a tad to soften the weight line. Stack the nape with shorter layers to give you more volume and curvature. Connect these shorter layers to longer layers toward the front to keep your desired length while adding softness.

In my opinion anybody, man or woman, can wear his/her hair shoulder length at any age.

Of course you can wear shoulder length hair! Why not?! It's all about what looks best on you, (and we all love to look younger)! Go for it!

All the rules about hair have changed. That rule you're thinking of, is an old rule that has been broken. If your hair is healthy, why not? The woman in this picture is 60 years of age.
